These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Supaste (“Supaste,” “the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, purchasing, or using Supaste, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not purchase, install, or use the App.

1. What Supaste Does

Supaste is a macOS application that helps you save, organize, search, and reuse your clipboard history. The App may store copied text, links, images, screenshots, files, code snippets, colors, rich text, SVG content, and related metadata locally on your Mac.

Supaste may provide access through a menu bar app, a notch-style panel, and a Library window. Features may change, improve, or be removed over time.

2. Local-First App

Supaste is designed to work locally on your Mac. Clipboard history and related app data are stored on your device, including in the Supaste Application Support folder and related macOS storage locations.

Supaste does not provide user accounts, cloud sync, analytics, telemetry, or server-side clipboard storage unless explicitly stated in a future version.

You are responsible for maintaining the security, backups, and access controls of your own device.

3. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Supaste on macOS devices that you own or control.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where permitted by applicable law.

4. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for the content you copy, store, manage, favorite, categorize, export, or reuse with Supaste.

You agree not to use Supaste to:

* Violate any law or regulation

* Store, process, or share content you do not have the right to use

* Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or confidentiality rights

* Circumvent security controls or misuse confidential information

* Harm, harass, defraud, or impersonate others

* Use the App in a way that could damage, disable, or interfere with macOS, other apps, or third-party services

5. Clipboard Content and Sensitive Data

Supaste may process and locally store clipboard content that you copy while the App is running.

By default, Supaste attempts to detect and avoid saving sensitive content such as passwords, API keys, private keys, SSH keys, credit card numbers, `.env` files, credentials, tokens, and similar confidential material.

However, automated detection is not perfect. Supaste may fail to detect sensitive content, or it may incorrectly classify non-sensitive content as sensitive.

You are solely responsible for deciding whether Supaste is appropriate for your use case, especially if you handle confidential, regulated, financial, medical, legal, work-related, or third-party data.

You can adjust capture, privacy, retention, and sensitive content settings in the App.

6. Screenshots and File Access

Supaste may optionally monitor folders such as Desktop or Pictures to detect screenshots or other supported files. This requires macOS permissions that you control.

If you enable screenshot or folder monitoring, you are responsible for the files made available to Supaste and for ensuring that you have the right to store, process, or reuse those files.

You may disable screenshot capture or folder monitoring at any time in the App settings or through macOS permissions.

7. Link Previews and Third-Party Content

When Supaste creates previews for links in your clipboard history, Apple system frameworks such as LinkPresentation may fetch metadata or images from the relevant website.

We do not control third-party websites, link preview content, availability, accuracy, or privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party content displayed in link previews.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Supaste may let you choose how long clipboard history is kept, such as 7, 15, 30, or 90 days, or indefinitely. Favorites and custom categories may be retained longer depending on your settings.

You can clear your history, delete individual items, remove favorites, pause capture, or uninstall the App.

Uninstalling the App may not automatically remove all locally stored files, preferences, caches, or backups created by macOS. You are responsible for deleting any remaining local data if desired.

9. Purchases and Refunds

Supaste is sold as a one-time purchase through our payment provider, Polar.sh. The App does not include a free plan, free trial, subscription, or recurring billing.

After a successful purchase, you will receive access to download the Supaste DMG installer file. Because Supaste is a digital product that is delivered electronically and made available immediately after purchase, all sales are final by default. Once the App has been purchased and the installer has been made available, there is generally no right of withdrawal, cancellation, or refund, except where required by applicable law.

That said, we want Supaste to work properly for you. If you experience a serious issue that appears to be caused by us, such as a technical problem, payment issue, licensing issue, corrupted download, or another defect that prevents you from installing or using the App as intended, please contact.

We will review the situation and may, at our sole discretion, offer troubleshooting, a fix, replacement access, a new download link, or a refund. Refunds are not guaranteed and are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Payments are processed by Polar.sh, and your purchase may also be subject to Polar.sh’s payment, billing, and refund-related terms.

10. Updates and Changes to the App

We may update, modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue any part of Supaste at any time.

We may add, remove, or change features, supported content types, storage behavior, settings, pricing, compatibility, or availability.

We are not obligated to provide updates, maintenance, support, or compatibility with all past or future macOS versions.

11. Beta and Early Access Features

Some features may be released as beta, experimental, preview, or early-access functionality.

Beta features may be incomplete, unstable, inaccurate, or changed without notice. You use beta features at your own risk.

12. Privacy

Your use of Supaste is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains how Supaste handles local clipboard history, screenshots, settings, sensitive content detection, and any limited network use for link previews.

13. No Warranties

Supaste is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, security, and reliability.

We do not guarantee that Supaste will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every macOS version, or that clipboard history, screenshots, metadata, categories, favorites, or settings will never be lost or corrupted.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill, device issues, security incidents, or unauthorized access arising from or related to your use of Supaste.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to Supaste will not exceed the amount you paid for the App.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from or related to:

* Your use or misuse of Supaste

* Content you copy, store, manage, export, or reuse with the App

* Your violation of these Terms

* Your violation of any law, regulation, third-party right, confidentiality obligation, or intellectual property right

16. Termination

You may stop using Supaste at any time.

We may suspend, terminate, or restrict your access to the App if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the App.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law.

17. Third-Party Services

Supaste may rely on third-party services for payment processing, purchase delivery, licensing, or related purchase operations.

Payments are processed by Polar.sh. We are not responsible for outages, errors, policies, or processing delays caused by third-party providers.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in [Your jurisdiction], unless applicable law requires otherwise.

19. Changes to These Terms
